I think I am going to start "blogging" from time to time.... I need a way to remember what has happening in my life and my kids etc... Only time will tell if I can stick to it or not?!

Hair Cut!

So Lily has been asking me to cut her hair for the past few weeks... I said no, because her hair has gotten so long and pretty lately. She gets compliments on her golden curls all the time. But lately it has been really hard to take care of, because her hair has lots of tangles and she hates it when I brush it.
So today was a windy, rainy day so we've been stuck inside. So we got bored... and Lily kept asking me to cut her hair. So here are the emotional pictures of her haircut. I have mixed emotions, because it looks cute on her and it will be much easier to take care of.:) But I am sad to have cut off perfectly healthy baby hair...:(

Bald and beautiful

My baby Phoebe is the cutest baby ever!!! And I never thought someone this bald could be sooo cute. It's pretty much irresistible to kiss her head...! My husband and I must kiss her uncountable times a day. Let's see xoxoxoooxooxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Quilt Update

So I am really lazy about posting things in my blog... but anyways, I finished the quilt a few months ago and wanted to post a few pics of it!

Project Clock

So I picked up one of these "Rusch" clocks at Ikea for about two bucks. It was really plain and boring so I took it apart and put in a Madeline card (for my daughters room) and added plastic gems for the numbers. It was a fun and easy project. I think it would be fun to do this with all different pictures in the background.

Christmas 2007

I guess a lot has changed in the last 50 years or so...! But I know for my family we like to keep it simple. A 3 yr. old girl- my daughter wants things similar to what my mom would've wanted for Christmas. Like princess dresses and a mini kitchen set. This is a b&w picture I found on-line. I don't know who it is; but I couldn't help but share the resemblance!

Pumpkin Decorating!

Seeing as fall is here, my daughter wanted to get a pumpkin.
so off to Trader Joes we went to buy a pumpkin. Of corse we
had to pick out the best one. Then we came home to decorate
it with whatever we had on hand- raisins, dried beans, glitter,
etc... It actually turned out pretty cute & I can truly say Lily
did it all by her self!
